After film transfer to dv, is there a fix available in Preimere, After Effects, FCP, perhaps a plug-in, etc, that can remove/reduce frame "jitter" in the footage? I've read about software that will help hlep steady-out "shaky" shots in post-production (I think by using some type of motion frame-cropping procedure) but nothing about jitter. Is that problem too extrmeme? Anyone know of something for this situation?

Thanks, Scot. These look very promising, and reasonble $$, given the major problem of otherwise having to re-shoot that they can (hopefully) "eliminate".

the filters should work even better on jitter than on shakiness, since there's usually no tilting, panning or rotating movement involved. i've used the fcp built in stabilizer with great results when there was a registration problem with my footage. something that happens way too often in super 8 by the way -- i'm actuall thinking of starting using regular 8 only because of it.
